- Candidates must have a minimum of 7-10 years of legal experience.
- Experience must include work as an insurance defense litigator.
- Candidates should be familiar with capturing billable hours.
- Ability to handle a caseload with minimal supervision is required.
- Candidates must be currently barred in New Jersey.
- Manage the entire legal process, including investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and court proceedings.
- Represent clients in depositions, site inspections, court hearings, and trials, as well as negotiate settlements.
- Research applicable laws to develop legal strategies and share them with claims representatives and clients.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with claims representatives and clients.
- Conduct training sessions for Legal, Claims, or other departments.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, and provide clear legal opinions.
