Requirements

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience
  • 4+ years specializing in executive search or senior-level hiring at a high-growth company or retained search firm
  • Proven track record placing Director, VP and C-level talent across multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, & Sales)
  • Deep understanding of executive assessment methodologies, leadership competencies, and organizational design
  • High EQ, exceptional judgment, and a consultative approach when working with senior executives and sometimes confidential matters
  • Exceptional sourcing and networking skills; experienced with search tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Deep understanding of U.S. employment law, particularly as it pertains to remote hiring practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives to engage top executive talent
  • A commitment to inclusive leadership hiring and closing representation gaps at the senior level

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead full-cycle searches across Pathstream, including VP-level and C-suite roles across departments such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning talent strategies with long-term organizational goals
  • Develop tailored search strategies, leveraging both passive and active sourcing techniques to identify diverse, world-class executive talent
  • Design and facilitate structured, competency-based interview processes, ensuring consistency, rigor, and a world-class candidate experience
  • Build, manage, and continuously refresh a strong pipeline, including proactive relationship building with future candidates
  • Advise hiring teams on hiring decisions, from assessments and reference checks to final negotiations
  • Drive diversity by embedding DEI best practices into every stage of the search and selection process
  • Represent Pathstream with professionalism and discretion in recruiting engagements
  • Assist in developing and enhancing best practices in the overall Pathstream recruitment process through strategic thinking and excellent documentation
  • Contribute to improving Pathstream's recruitment process by developing and documenting best practices through strategic thinking
