- 6+ years building and shipping web applications, 2+ years as a PM
Requirements
- 6+ years building and shipping web applications as a designer, engineer, or product manager at tech companies
- 2+ years as a PM in startup environments (ideally growth-stage companies)
- Experience with card products (prepaid, debit, credit, or similar)
- Strong product intuition
- Strong design judgment
- Strong technical fluency
- Ability to take a long-term strategy and a big feature backlog and translate that into roadmaps
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making decisions without perfect information and moving work forward without being told to
- Genuine empathy for users and teammates
Responsibilities
- Own prepaid cards end-to-end
- Own the full cardholder journey, including issuance at scale, fraud prevention, and lifecycle management
- Launch new programs and product offerings
- Work across technical systems and partners including banks, card networks (e.g. Visa, Mastercard), processors, and wallet providers (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including senior leaders
- Manage our product roadmap
- Resolve ambiguity for the team when things are unclear
- Frame up problems explaining what problems are being solved and why
- Conduct research and analysis from user interviews, market research, and competitive analysis
- Work with designers and engineers to devise solutions
- Persuade with a light touch to drive decisions while keeping people in the process
- Report back on what’s working and help the team understand the impact of their work
