- Deep expertise in high-throughput, low-latency systems
- Expertise in polyglot persistence and complex data models
- Hands-on experience with stream processing frameworks
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud-native observability stacks
- Strong understanding of application security, vulnerability assessment, static analysis, or dependency scanning
- Proven track record of leading large engineering teams (40+ engineers)
- Excellent technical communication skills
- Experience with system architecture for large-scale data processing
- Experience with automated remediation workflows
- Experience with enterprise-grade security systems
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the design of distributed systems for processing and analyzing vulnerability data at enterprise scale
- Drive technical strategy for storage, processing pipelines, and microservices-based vulnerability management systems
- Mentor and grow senior engineers, establishing engineering excellence and best practices in distributed systems and performance optimization
- Lead architectural decision-making and enforce standards for observability, fault tolerance, and scalability
- Own the end-to-end user journey for both security teams and developers, translating complex technical capabilities into intuitive experiences
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and cross-functional teams to integrate security functionality seamlessly across the platform
- Oversee incident response for availability, performance, and security-related issues, ensuring high reliability of customer-facing systems
