Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10-12 years relevant experience in strategic sourcing
  • Knowledge and previous experience in indirect areas including consulting services, human resources, IT, legal services, facility services and accounting services
  • Experience with ERP System QAD and manufacturing processes (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Comfortable with other computer systems including the internet and database programs
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Self-starter, fast learner, and strong collaborator
  • Medical Device, Pharma, or Biotech experience (plus)
  • Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations (plus)
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for IT hardware, software, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, telecom, and travel programs
  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives including RFx, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract execution
  • Drive measurable value through cost savings, demand management, standardization, and value-added supplier initiatives
  • Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, licensing models, and supplier landscapes
  • Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to IT leadership, Finance, Legal, Security, HR, and business units
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance for key IT, SaaS, and travel vendors
  • Lead contract negotiations including MSAs, SaaS subscriptions, licensing, SLAs, renewals, and amendments
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively manage renewals, usage optimization, and vendor rationalization
  • Support third-party risk, information security, and data privacy reviews
  • Own corporate travel programs including airlines, hotels, ground transportation, TMCs, and expense platforms
  • Partner with Finance and HR to enforce travel policy compliance and enhance employee experience
