Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 10-12 years relevant experience in strategic sourcing
- Knowledge and previous experience in indirect areas including consulting services, human resources, IT, legal services, facility services and accounting services
- Experience with ERP System QAD and manufacturing processes (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Comfortable with other computer systems including the internet and database programs
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Organization and attention to detail
- Self-starter, fast learner, and strong collaborator
- Medical Device, Pharma, or Biotech experience (plus)
- Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations (plus)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy (plus)
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for IT hardware, software, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, telecom, and travel programs
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives including RFx, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract execution
- Drive measurable value through cost savings, demand management, standardization, and value-added supplier initiatives
- Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, licensing models, and supplier landscapes
- Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to IT leadership, Finance, Legal, Security, HR, and business units
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance for key IT, SaaS, and travel vendors
- Lead contract negotiations including MSAs, SaaS subscriptions, licensing, SLAs, renewals, and amendments
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Proactively manage renewals, usage optimization, and vendor rationalization
- Support third-party risk, information security, and data privacy reviews
- Own corporate travel programs including airlines, hotels, ground transportation, TMCs, and expense platforms
- Partner with Finance and HR to enforce travel policy compliance and enhance employee experience
