Experience: 5 or more years

Requirements

Advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD, or MD)
5+ years of relevant job experience with medical publications
Experience with manuscripts, posters, abstracts, podium presentations, scientific platforms, and publication extenders
Demonstrated organizational skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
Ability to multitask
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage projects within tight deadlines
Experience with established professional medical editorial processes (AMA style)
Ethical guideline working knowledge (ICMJE, GPP2022)
CMPP preferred
Experience with respiratory medicine is a plus

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and oversee scientific content for assigned accounts
Provide clients with strategic medical communication recommendations
Independently lead execution of content development activities
Supervise Associate Scientific Directors
Liaise with in-house or freelance staff for writing and content tasks
Conduct background research
Perform data-checking
Execute reference annotation
