Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working at an agency.
  • 5+ years of experience managing web development projects.
  • Experience with at least one of Shopify, Contentful, Drupal, or Wordpress (more than one is a plus).
  • Ability to own projects, not just manage them.
  • Intellectually curious and committed to clients and teammates.
  • Clear, confident communicator, effective with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Builds trust with clients through professionalism, follow-through, and transparency.
  • Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity when requirements or priorities are unclear.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on every project, directing communication flow, managing resource interdependencies, and navigating complex challenges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between TAG and clients, building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for project teams (designers, strategists, analytics, product owners, developers, QA).
  • Partner with Account Management, Strategy, and Engineering leadership to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Manage website projects, including site builds, redesigns, re-platforms, enhancements, and ongoing support, with budgets typically $200k-$500k+.
  • Oversee project execution from kickoff through launch, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with TAG quality standards.
  • Create project plans by defining scopes, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and allocating resources.
  • Support project scoping by gathering requirements and translating them into clear, actionable tasks.
  • Manage project budgets by tracking hours, reviewing invoices, and maintaining budget control.
  • Forecast and manage project resources in alignment with budgets, schedules, and team capacity.
  • Oversee and report on project health to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks by anticipating issues and developing mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, design, development, and QA teams to maintain alignment.
  • Lead project meetings including kickoff, weekly status, sprint planning, training, and launch.
  • Keep thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes.
  • Manage changes effectively by evaluating change requests and assessing their impact.
  • Identify potential new sales opportunities with clients.
  • Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheets, Jira, Confluence, Harvest, and Forecast.
  • Apply agile and hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
