- Strong technical skills to read, write and debug code
- Javascript/Node.js preferred for coding skills
- Relevant experience in a Solutions Engineering role
- Experience in a dev-tools SaaS environment
- Ability to use AI tools for customer-facing work
- Ability to research prospect environments using AI tools
- Ability to generate tailored demo code using AI tools
- Ability to build proof-of-concept repos using AI tools
- Autonomous and self-motivated in a remote-first work environment
- Exceptional empathy and curiosity
- Love working with customers and taking pride in their success
- Proactive and ownership-oriented mindset
- Ability to build long-lasting partnerships with customers
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- Located in the US (ET or CT time zones)
Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Checkly and the Monitoring space
- Help drive the Monitoring as Code revolution
- Solve real customer problems
- Work with valuable customers in different pre-sales stages
- Assist prospects with the technical evaluation of Checkly, from first demo to successful implementation
- Own the technical evaluation process
- Speak with customers directly and share learnings with Product and Engineering
- Help shape Checkly based on customer feedback
- Assist in continuously improving technical documentation, processes and policies
- Be involved in Customer Support during onboarding to learn the platform
- Chip in Support when needed from time to time
