Requirements
- Fast growth trajectory as a data engineer
- Production-ready code in Python, Scala or Java
- Highly proficient in SQL
- Knowledgeable about relational data concepts
- Experience with big data and AI tools
- Experience wrangling messy raw data into a usable state
- Experience expressing complex business logic as code
- Experience configuring new and debugging existing pipelines
- Interested and experienced in both engineering and finance
- Capable of understanding how investors evaluate loan portfolios and the complexities of amortization, prepay, and default
- Highly collaborative engineer and clear communicator
Responsibilities
- Operate as the bridge between the engineering and analyst teams
- Contribute to integral processes that drive dv01 on a daily basis
- Integrate new datasets within dv01
- Own managing and scaling the business logic in our data pipeline
- Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand data complexities
- Work with dbt, Airflow and Apache Spark
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform tools including BigQuery, Cloud Run and Dataproc
