Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in AWS data landscape
- 10 years of experience designing and building complex data systems
- Experience in relational database design, optimization and migration
- Experience in data modeling for both transactional and analytics systems including implementation of industry standard data models
- Experience with BI dashboards and visualizations
- Experience with Data Governance and MDM
- Experience with Big data processing using Spark, Streaming solutions, and NoSQL
- Proficiency in Machine Learning and MLOps with Sagemaker
- Proficiency in GenAI Foundational Models and Bedrock
- Experience with DataOps practices (Infrastructure as Code, Data Testing, Data Versioning, etc.)
- Experience with at least two of these: Infrastructure as Code tools, CI/CD pipelines and tools, Python for analytics (numpy, pandas, matplotlib etc) and automation
- Strong drive towards standardizing and documenting approaches and solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud-based data solutions for customers
- Define strategic roadmaps and targeted outcomes for clients in a consultative capacity
- Act as a data engineering SME to define upcoming engagements working with pre-sales teams
- Perform technical interviews for Architect and Engineer candidates
- Provide technical guidance to Architects and Engineers
- Oversee the development and implementation of data standards and operating procedures
