Requirements
- 7+ years of Professional Mechanical Engineering design experience
- Experience designing mechanical systems for data centers or other mission critical projects favorable
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Valid Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (will consider 6 years of experience with PE license)
- Experience working independently, and managing priorities and providing mentorship to junior staff
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes
- Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives
- Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team
- Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Proficiency with BlueBeam
- Proficiency with BIM
- Proficiency with Revit
Responsibilities
- Independently drive projects forward throughout design and construction phases.
- Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers.
- Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems and drawings.
- Work amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers.
- Major equipment selection and scheduling.
