Requirements
- Proven track record of success implementing SEO principles and content strategy
- Experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- Analytical insight to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics
- Proficiency with Google Analytics
- Strong communication skills, comfortable client-facing and owning relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong familiarity with Google Search Console
- Strong familiarity with SEMRush
- Strong familiarity with Ahrefs
- Strong familiarity with Screaming Frog/crawling tools
- Proven organizational, project, and time management skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO and Content
- Must have agency experience
- Must have B2B tech and/or SaaS experience
- Driven to stay ahead of industry trends, including actively learning how AI and automation can enhance marketing and operations
Responsibilities
- Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve NSMs
- Use project phase, client marketing goals, campaigns, and historical performance to optimize and revise strategies
- Work closely with Associate Director when roadblocks arise impacting strategy and goal attainment
- Craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns with a focus on ideation based on competitor and audience insights
- Use best practices like LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production to inform strategies
- Use available data (Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, Ahrefs) to set client goals, reviewed and approved by Associate Director
- Ensure planned strategy is executed and progress is made towards goals using Asana
- Delegate tasks to team members and clients, ensuring timely completion
- Partner with Project Managers (where present) to ensure tasks are created, assigned, and due dates are met
- Work with content writers and designers to complete content campaigns on time and ensure quality
- Build relationships with clients beyond deliverables, acting as a consultant for their business
- Proactively communicate with clients regarding timeline expectations, goal attainment, and shared communication channels
- Proactively communicate with internal leadership regarding roadblocks, growth opportunities, and account changes
- Report bi-weekly to clients on NSM progress and deliverables
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports to clients
- Deliver 2 Bi-Annual business review presentations
