Job Details

2+ years of experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form work
Proficiency editing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote environment
Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects (bonus)
Experience in creating crypto-focused content or working within the crypto industry (bonus)
Familiarity with AI-driven social tools or community loyalty programs (bonus)
Background in journalism, editorial, or creative production (bonus)

Edit and produce high-quality short-form and long-form videos, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and visually appealing
Create compelling clips, teasers, and social-first edits optimized for platforms like YouTube Shorts, X, TikTok, and Instagram Reels
Work closely with other employees at The Block to understand the contextual background of each video project
Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel
Grow high-quality, crypto-interested followers through consistent content, and drive engagement across channels
Optimize videos for various platforms, including YouTube, X, TikTok, and podcasting platforms
Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and crypto industry developments to incorporate relevant content and techniques
Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the quality and impact of our video content
