Requirements

  • 2 to 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks Online, or similar accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools
  • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt to different client workflows and business environments

Responsibilities

  • Record day to day financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support month end and year end closing processes
  • Maintain an organized chart of accounts and digital documentation
  • Assist in budget tracking, cash flow monitoring, and expense reporting
  • Coordinate with external accountants for audits, compliance, and tax filing
  • Identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements
