Java & PHP Integration Engineer

5+ years of hands-on experience in integration engineering or application development. Strong proficiency in Java and PHP with a proven track record in system integration. Experience designing, consuming, and maintaining REST and SOAP APIs. Customer-facing experience with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and provide guidance. Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases. Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Analyze, maintain, and enhance existing Java and PHP codebases to support integration projects. Design, develop, and maintain API-based integrations (REST and SOAP) between internal systems and third-party applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrations meet technical standards and business requirements. Gather technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide integration support directly to customers. Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation of integration solutions to ensure reliability and maintainability. Provide post-integration monitoring and support to optimize performance and resolve potential issues.
