Senior Backend Engineer - Java

Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with the Java family of technologies. Strong experience in Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks. Expertise in SQL and experience with relational databases. Understanding of ORM frameworks like Hibernate and Spring DAO. Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, concurrency, and multi-threading. Experience with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EKS) is highly advantageous. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development, focusing on Spring Boot and Hibernate. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and API builds and deployments.

Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks. Design and implement database schemas, queries, and stored procedures with SQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Manage cloud dashboards and utilize AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and EKS. Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure robust software solutions. Participate in API builds and deployments. Engage in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
