8+ years in hands-on, senior security roles within engineering or software development. Hands-on experience securing web applications. Experience designing secure solutions. Experience providing security feedback on design documentation and code reviews. Contributed to company-level security strategy. Owned security programs end-to-end (e.g., SDLC security, vulnerability management, threat modeling). Desire to directly manage and mentor 1-3 security software engineers. Played a significant role in hiring security professionals. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with functional leaders, product management, engineers, IT, and non-technical staff. Independently executed broad security initiatives (infrastructure, application, automating controls).

Drive accountability for application security company-wide. Directly manage 1-2 software security engineers and interns. Identify, scope, prioritize, and execute high-impact security work. Mentor team members and product engineers. Architect complex security solutions and contribute to the security roadmap. Deliver business value through AppSec, DevSecOps, and security projects. Act as a trusted contact for security questions and incidents. Monitor industry trends and security developments.
