AWS Devops Engineer III - IN (Remote)

Expert knowledge of AWS Products & Services (Compute, Storage, Security, Networking). Proficient skills in Python, Linux, or Shell scripting. Proficient skills with git and git workflows. Excellent working knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems. Highly skilled in Terraform/IaC, including CI/CD practices. Solid hands-on in Kubernetes & ELK. Experience in designing, building, implementing, analyzing, migrating, and troubleshooting highly available systems. Knowledge of at least one configuration management system (Chef, Ansible, Puppet). Understanding of services, protocols, and configuration of hosting environments (web servers, databases, caching). Knowledge in application of current and emerging network software and hardware technology. Experienced in solutioning and implementation of greenfield projects leveraging IaaS, PaaS for Primary site and DR. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Associate level or Professional level AWS certificate.

Automate deployments using custom templates and modules for customer environments on AWS. Architect AWS environment best practices and deployment methodologies. Create automation tools and processes to improve day-to-day functions. Educate customers on AWS and Rackspace best practices and architecture. Ensure control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment for the enterprise. Lead workload/workforce management and optimization. Assist Rackers across the Cloud Function.
