MDM (Master Data Management) Parts Specialist

0-2 years of experience in Master Data Management, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a related field. Experience with MDM systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Informatica, or similar platforms). Knowledge of parts classification, categorization, and standardization processes. Familiarity with data governance principles and data quality management. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools. Experience with ERP systems and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. Familiarity with data integration and database management. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ensure accurate and timely creation, maintenance, and updates of part master data. Validate part specifications, classifications, and categorization for data integrity. Maintain consistency across different systems by updating and reconciling part data. Implement and follow data governance policies and procedures. Support data quality initiatives and collaborate with business units on data standards. Identify and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies. Act as a liaison between departments to resolve part master data issues. Work with IT to enhance MDM system functionality and integration. Provide user support and training on MDM tools and processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements in master data management. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for data handling. Recommend best practices for MDM processes. Generate and distribute reports on part data quality, completeness, and accuracy. Analyze data trends and provide insights for business decision-making. Monitor KPIs related to master data and track data quality goals. Work with procurement and supply chain teams on part data requirements. Collaborate on the classification and standardization of parts. Support integration of new systems with the MDM system. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and data cleansing projects.
