Staff Software Engineer, Stream Infrastructure

10+ years experience building, operating, and evolving large-scale production systems. Experience as a technical lead for teams working on distributed systems. Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, Flink, or Pinot. Comfortable operating with high autonomy and ownership. Growth mindset and willingness to learn quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear technical documentation.

Design, build, and operate event-driven infrastructure leveraging Apache Kafka, Temporal, and AWS services. Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and improve streaming infrastructure usage. Define and implement Kafka operational best practices for resilience and reliability. Build automation, standardized workflows, and self-healing systems to reduce manual operations.
