Software Development Manager (Remote from Canada)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of software development experience At least 2 years in a leadership or management role Proven experience managing high-performing engineering teams Proven experience delivering complex projects Strong technical background with experience in Python, React, and relational and NoSQL databases Solid understanding of large-scale system design and big data architectures Experience working with agile development methodologies Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers. Oversee software design, development, and implementation. Prioritize development work and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and technical solutions. Establish and maintain project timelines. Enforce coding standards and best practices. Identify risks and implement preventive solutions. Drive a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement. Communicate progress and challenges to senior stakeholders.
