Requirements:
Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies. Proven experience in independently managing voluntary and involuntary exits. Comprehensive HR advice and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals. Ability to interpret industrial instruments and analyze complex HR issues. Problem-solving skills to arrive at solutions and translate research into usable resources. Effectively communicate recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills. Ability to lead difficult conversations and maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English. Aptitude for innovation and process optimization. Efficiency in operations with an awareness of record-keeping and data integrity. Tech-savvy and able to collaborate asynchronously on various tools. Ability to work autonomously and cohesively in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions. Provide guidance on termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes. Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and employees regarding workforce reductions and separations. Influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in offboarding activities. Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents. Process offboarding on Remote's internal HRIS platform. Provide expertise, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members. Provide guidance on Employee Relations resources and complex workplace scenarios. Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns and applicable regulations. Serve as a trusted resource on employee relations matters. Guide clients in understanding progressive disciplinary approaches and documentation. Track and monitor ongoing employee relations cases. Resolve internal and external queries on offboarding and employee relations matters. Identify opportunities and drive process improvements, automation, and product development.
