Software Engineer II, Accounting

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 2-5 years of experience in software development, particularly with modern web application frameworks (e.g., React, NestJs, FastAPI, or similar) Experience with service-oriented architecture Preferred experience in one of the following: Python/Typescript Preferred experience with kubernetes Understanding of server-side MVC frameworks (like Django, Rails, Pyramid etc.) Experience with SQL database schema design Experience operating Linux clusters (Amazon Web Services is a plus) Experience with accounting concepts preferred Experience with AI coding tools (like Cursor, Augment) preferred

Assist in implementing Core Accounting functionality on our General Ledger Contribute to projects within the Product Team Participate in project kickoffs and translate requirements into technical specifications Assist in defining and expanding data models Implement business logic in the service layer Help define and implement GraphQL API endpoints Enhance and maintain the user interface with React Write integration and unit tests for code Participate in code reviews for colleagues Provide technical support for stakeholder groups Participate in monitoring, diagnosing, and addressing production issues
