Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or distribution. Strong proficiency in Python or R, with expertise in Pandas, NumPy, and SQL. Experience with machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch). Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Matplotlib/Seaborn). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferred. Familiarity with supply chain or logistics data is preferred. Knowledge of NLP techniques is preferred. Experience with the UK e-commerce and retail landscape is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and analyze datasets on customer behavior, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness. Build predictive models to forecast sales, optimize inventory, and anticipate customer preferences. Perform customer segmentation and lifetime value analysis. Design and evaluate A/B tests. Create dashboards and reports. Collaborate with teams to implement data-driven solutions.
