Requirements:
10-12+ years of progressive operations or enterprise support leadership experience 5+ years leading managers and driving execution through teams Experience building or scaling shared services and enterprise support functions in a highly regulated environment Direct experience in the commercial nuclear industry (ideally from a nuclear utility, reactor vendor, or supporting company) Managed at least one enterprise support functional area (e.g., Document Control, EHS, Quality, Compliance, Procurement, Training, or IT) Experience leading enterprise operations, governance, readiness, or shared services functions in a highly regulated industry Experience leading and developing managers, driving execution through others Oversight or scaling of multiple enterprise support functions Comfort operating in environments where compliance, safety, and procedural rigor matter Experience coordinating effectively across leaders in finance, HR, legal, regulatory, and project development Strong experience managing consultants, external partners, and vendors Proactive and executive-ready communication skills Data-driven and operationally rigorous approach
Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day performance of assigned enterprise support functions Partner with finance, project development, HR, regulatory, legal, and other functional leaders Establish the operating rhythm of the organization Lead cross-disciplinary reviews Keep the COO closely engaged, surfacing risks and escalating issues Help build operational backbone enabling repeatable execution Coordinate readiness planning and implementation tied to milestones Reinforce alignment with compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements Maintain accountability for adherence to budgets and policies Enable functional leaders to use consultants and external partners effectively Coordinate internal review and acceptance of consultant deliverables Partner with HR to build onboarding and training material Reinforce a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement Support the integration of new hires Build and scale additional enterprise functions Build and maintain dashboards and trackers for functional performance Identify operational risks, resource gaps, and bottlenecks Provide executive-ready updates to the COO and leadership team
