Senior Java Developer (IR-482)

7+ years of experience in Backend development of complex web and mobile apps using Java. Expert knowledge of Core Java concepts (OOP, data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, memory management). Hands-on experience with the Micronaut framework for building microservices. Familiarity with GraalVM and native image generation is highly desirable. Proficiency in AWS SQS, S3 and DynamoDB. Ability to use Athena for data analysis and CloudWatch for logs and monitoring. Experience with Spring Boot is a plus. Proficiency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Previous commercial experience working within the financial services industry. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Java applications and microservices using Micronaut. Leverage GraalVM for ahead-of-time (AOT) compilation for performance optimization. Contribute to the evolution of product architecture, ensuring system resilience, reliability, and security. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, debugging, and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines. Lead features from design to production. Influence the evolution of product architecture and development. Participate in improving the product delivery life-cycle.
