CAD/CNC Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in CAD design and CNC programming with a focus on precision manufacturing. Experience in engineering for retail fixtures, event builds, and custom fixtures from design to manufacturing. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. GCode, vCarve, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, tooling, and machining processes. Experience with CAM software (e.g. Fusion 360) is a plus. Mechanically inclined and able to program and run CNC routers for wood applications. Ability to program metal machines (if possible). Skilled in looking at builds domestically and internationally to see where processes and build can be improved. Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing (5s or 3s) methodology.

Manage engineering on multiple projects, including design, troubleshooting, partner, and supplier communication. Ensure efficiency in material use, shipping, and production methodologies for quality, accuracy, efficiency, and cost reduction. Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop innovative and manufacturable designs. Update and maintain CAD libraries and design documentation. Provide key process improvements following LEAN manufacturing methodology. Analyze domestic and international builds to identify areas for process and build improvement.
