Requirements:
Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies. Proven experience managing voluntary and involuntary exits with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance. Comprehensive HR advice and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals. Ability to interpret industrial instruments, analyze complex HR issues, and apply problem-solving skills. Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills. Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English. Aptitude and appetite to innovate and optimize processes. Efficiency in operations with an awareness of record-keeping and data integrity. Tech-savvy with ability to collaborate asynchronously. Ability to work autonomously and cohesively in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions. Provide HR guidance on termination, resignation, transfer, contract, and redundancy procedures. Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and employees on workforce reduction, negotiations, and separations. Influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure offboarding compliance. Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents. Process offboarding on Remote's HRIS platform. Act as an escalation point and mentor to junior team members. Provide guidance on Employee Relations resources and complex workplace scenarios. Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns. Serve as a resource on employee relations matters. Guide clients on progressive disciplinary approaches and documentation. Track and monitor employee relations cases. Resolve queries on offboarding and employee relations matters. Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and product development.
