8-10+ years of sourcing and product development of consumer goods for retail (home decor, gifts, fabric, stationery) Deep in-region experience in Asia 6+ years working with supply chain, accounting, and customer service (e-commerce/retail affinity) Immediate network of trusted overseas manufacturers Passion for design and sourcing high-quality products Exceptional detail orientation Project management skills Analytical skills Strong English and Mandarin language skills 4-year degree in a relevant field (highly preferred)
Responsibilities:
Expand supplier portfolio and reduce spend Build and manage strategic relationships with overseas suppliers Partner with teams to develop, source, and manufacture products Manage production and sourcing, including trade regulations and compliance Negotiate with offshore partners for competitive pricing and quality Communicate regularly with overseas suppliers to audit quality and identify risks Provide clear production and shipping timeline communication Physically move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
