Senior Software Engineer (Data Focus)

Very strong back-end and distributed system engineering work experience Strong data engineering experience Strong experience building scalable microservice and distributed systems Strong experience with AWS, Terraform Experience with Go, Python Experience with PostgreSQL, S3, Dagster, Redis, Snowflake, MongoDB Experience writing, maintaining and monitoring web services on containerized and serverless cloud environments (AWS Lambda, Docker) Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases, and data warehouses and/or data lakes Mastery of core development practices: Agile, TDD, CI/CD, and DevSecOps Mastery of standard security and compliance protocols and practices

Back-end system design and coding Heavy data engineering and big data work ETL/ELT and streaming Data validation, cleaning, de-duplication, matching, testing, and quality Deliver polished solutions in collaboration with an agile team Work on core data collection systems for enterprise customers Break down problems and devise simple, elegant solutions Plan for scalability Adopt a customer and product-oriented perspective
