5–10 years’ relevant experience in land acquisition, land agency, infrastructure development or environmental planning. Demonstrable experience working on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). Strong understanding of the Development Consent Order (DCO) process and how NSIPs are consented in the UK. Background in land acquisition, land agency or land strategy within renewables or infrastructure organizations or consultancies. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex workstreams. Good working knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Ability to integrate ecological, habitat, and environmental mitigation requirements. Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong organisational and project management capability. Ecological background or strong understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), habitat creation and management (Desirable). Experience working with land acquisition, land agency or land management processes (Desirable). Experience co-ordinating and acquiring land for environmental mitigation or enhancement (Desirable). Understanding of wider environmental and social value delivery (Desirable). Professional qualification in project management, planning, ecology or related discipline (Desirable).
