Requirements:
5+ years of experience in HR Operations (including experience managing payroll across multiple States and benefits administration), ideally within global tech environments. Good knowledge of North American employment regulations. Strong understanding of people systems, policy, compliance, and performance frameworks. Proficiency with Microsoft tools. Experience with HiBob HRIS is a bonus. Comfortable working directly with managers and guiding them through people topics. Confidence working with the business. Combines analytical rigor and accuracy in payroll and compliance with strategic insight and a confident communicator who advises, coaches, and influences stakeholders across levels. Able to manage complexity, ambiguity, and scale with grace and structure. Comfortable working async, across time zones, and with minimal oversight. Experience in cyber security or global, remote-first, fast-scaling startups.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the full employee lifecycle across the region: contracts, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, time-off and leaves, internal mobility. Ensure accurate and timely data management across all People tools and systems. Manage end-to-end payroll processing with external vendors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to local regulations. Own and continuously improve regional documentation and internal comms on people processes, policies, and FAQs. Serve as the primary regional point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits and payroll. Partner with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies across all jurisdictions. Own or support people systems rollouts and process automation initiatives. Support ad hoc projects and related tasks as needed. Own and update regional HR policies and employee handbooks. Ensure local employment compliance through documentation, audit readiness, and vendor collaboration. Respond to audits or regulatory requests in collaboration with internal teams. Act as the first point of contact for managers in North America on people-related topics. Guide managers through routine situations such as contract changes, performance topics, exits, leaves and employee changes. Help managers apply policies and processes correctly and consistently. Identify and escalate trends in feedback, engagement, or experience that need cross-functional alignment or solutions.
