Job Costing Analyst

Proven experience using ServiceTitan Strong background in job costing or project cost analysis Experience supporting service-based or construction trades (HVAC, roofing, solar preferred) High attention to detail with strong data entry and financial accuracy Comfortable handling large volumes of cost and job data Solid understanding of labor, material, and overhead cost structures Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for analysis and reporting Reliable internet connection and ability to work full-time remotely Experience working with accounting or bookkeeping teams (Nice to Have) Exposure to multi-trade or multi-location service businesses (Nice to Have) Understanding of margin analysis and operational KPIs (Nice to Have)

Maintain accurate job costing records in ServiceTitan Analyze estimated vs. actual job costs and identify variances Monitor job profitability and margins Support project evaluation by reviewing cost efficiency Enter and validate job, invoice, and cost data Gather data from multiple sources Prepare job costing reports and summaries Ensure data integrity and consistency within ServiceTitan Work closely with operations, project managers, and accounting/bookkeeping teams Support reconciliation of job costs with financial records Flag discrepancies, missing costs, or unusual variances for resolution Other tasks as assigned
