Requirements:
10+ years of professional experience delivering enterprise-grade web/CMS solutions. Strong background in consulting or agency environments. 5+ years of team leadership experience managing technical resources and project portfolios. Experience with creation of SOWs, management of staff plans, and oversight of delivery strategy. Deep understanding of the DXP/CMS landscape (Sitecore, AEM, Drupal, Optimizely). Sufficient technical background to challenge estimates and understand architectural decisions. Proven ability to lead client conversations to desirable outcomes. Effectively negotiate trade-offs, manage expectations, and support budget/investment discussions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience. Experience transitioning teams from monolithic CMS architectures to Headless/Composable stacks (bonus). Experience assisting New Business teams in pitch presentations and RFP responses (bonus). Familiarity with financial metrics regarding utilization, project margin, and burn rates (bonus).
Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of a technical delivery team for end-to-end project success. Execute projects, align technical teams with business goals, and proactively mitigate delivery risks. Partner with Project Managers, Client Services, and Solution Consultants to craft SOWs, staff plans, and technology roadmaps. Act as the primary escalation point for technical blockers and resolve major escalations. Ensure projects meet enterprise-grade standards for security, performance, and accessibility. Manage project scope rigorously, identifying creep early and negotiating trade-offs. Lead the technical definition phase and generate SOWs, assumptions, and staff plans. Create and execute strategic 1-to-3-year technology roadmaps for clients. Support budget and investment conversations, and identify opportunities for organic account growth. Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, translating technical challenges into business language. Coach and mentor supervised staff, provide constructive feedback, and resolve personnel escalations. Advise leadership on talent strategies and drive adoption of engineering best practices.
