Software Engineer II, Backend (Infrastructure)

1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer. Proficient in Python or Kotlin. Familiar with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes. Experience building cost visibility via tagging is a plus. Experience creating cost savings via cost analysis is a plus. Ability to take a problem and develop a solution interacting with multiple software components. Comfortable navigating large code bases, debugging, and providing code review feedback. Demonstrated ownership of growth and proactive feedback seeking. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Break down projects into tasks and deliver them in phases. Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics. Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics. Engage in growth and development activities, including interviewing.
