System Operations Engineer

U.S. Citizenship required. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in DevOps/Cloud Operations. Experience writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation Templates, CDK, etc.). Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.). Strong understanding of web development frameworks and architectures. Strong understanding of containerization (Kubernetes a plus). Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (Amazon GovCloud a plus). Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Produce clear diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans for operational systems. Follow architectural guidelines and best practices for operations frameworks. Automate software artifact building and delivery. Write Infrastructure as Code for the environment. Develop monitors, alerts, and on-call solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Provide progress and performance updates to senior management.
