Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field (MBA a plus) 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or strategy, in energy, utilities, or cleantech Working knowledge of electric utility markets, DERs, demand response, VPPs, or grid services Experience responding to utility RFPs and negotiating commercial contracts Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage a pipeline, forecast revenue, and close complex, long-cycle deals Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, regulatory, and operations teams Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment Willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and partners
