Inpatient Audit Specialist FT 2,500 Sign on Bonus

5+ years of facility inpatient coding experience and/or auditing CCS (preferred), RHIA or RHIT preferred Maintain 95% DRG accuracy rate Experience with various software including Epic, Cerner, and other prevalent EMRs Strong in all aspects of inpatient auditing Strong spinal fusion experience APR and MS DRG knowledge

Performs Inpatient Facility coding audits according to scope of work Provides rationale for any identified changes with specific references Keeps abreast of regulatory changes Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases concurrently Provides coder education via the auditing process Functions in a professional, efficient, and positive manner Adheres to the American Health Information Management Association’s code of ethics Is customer-service focused and exhibits professionalism, flexibility, dependability, desire to learn, commitment to excellence and commitment to profession Handles high complexity of work function and decision making Demonstrates strong organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills
