4+ years of professional experience in nuclear technician roles. Experience following nuclear equipment operational policies and procedures. Experience conducting surveillance testing for nuclear equipment safety. Experience monitoring nuclear reactor equipment performance. Experience testing plant equipment to ensure proper operation. Experience applying safety tags to equipment. Experience following radiation-worker safety policies and procedures. Experience modifying, devising, or maintaining nuclear equipment. Experience monitoring instruments, gauges, or recording devices. Experience performing testing, maintenance, repair, or upgrading of accelerator systems. Experience warning maintenance workers of radiation hazards. Experience calculating equipment operating factors. Experience measuring radiation intensity and identifying types of radiation. Experience communicating with maintenance personnel for support systems readiness. Experience identifying and implementing decontamination procedures. Experience decontaminating objects. Experience collecting samples for testing radioactivity levels. Experience determining or recommending radioactive decontamination procedures. Experience setting up and testing radiation detection equipment. Ability to participate in asynchronous work.
