Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in behavioral health clinician and MD licensing.
- Experience with clinician or MD licensing in multiple states.
- Proficient knowledge of TJC Behavioral Health and HIPAA Standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent career experience in healthcare.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Proactive mindset and strong initiative.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and listening skills.
- Ability to communicate and build rapport at all levels.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to document activity and maintain records.
- Ability to meet goals.
Responsibilities
- Cross license clinical and medical staff in multiple states.
- Maintain records of all licensing activities.
- Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual licensing goals.
- Prequalify clinicians for licensure eligibility.
- Research state licensing laws and regulations.
- Research CEU requirements and notify clinicians of deadlines.
- Complete licensure renewals and apply for permits/registrations.
- Communicate with state licensing boards on behalf of clinicians.
- Communicate with clinical and medical staff to gather necessary information.
- Maintain ongoing communication with cross-department teams regarding licensing status.
- Organize work for accuracy and efficiency.
