Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health clinician and MD licensing.
  • Experience with clinician or MD licensing in multiple states.
  • Proficient knowledge of TJC Behavioral Health and HIPAA Standards.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent career experience in healthcare.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Proactive mindset and strong initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and listening skills.
  • Ability to communicate and build rapport at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to document activity and maintain records.
  • Ability to meet goals.

Responsibilities

  • Cross license clinical and medical staff in multiple states.
  • Maintain records of all licensing activities.
  • Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual licensing goals.
  • Prequalify clinicians for licensure eligibility.
  • Research state licensing laws and regulations.
  • Research CEU requirements and notify clinicians of deadlines.
  • Complete licensure renewals and apply for permits/registrations.
  • Communicate with state licensing boards on behalf of clinicians.
  • Communicate with clinical and medical staff to gather necessary information.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with cross-department teams regarding licensing status.
  • Organize work for accuracy and efficiency.
