Database Administrator (Remote from Massachusetts)

6–10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator. Deep knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL. Experience supporting AWS database platforms (RDS, Aurora). Strong database troubleshooting, query tuning, and performance optimization skills. Familiarity with third-party SQL tools (Idera, RedGate, SolarWinds DPA, Datadog, Splunk). SSIS/SSRS development and deployment experience. Experience with very large databases (VLDB > 1 TB) and exposure to NoSQL platforms. Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call rotations. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Maintain database environment stability, reliability, and high performance. Respond to alerts, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. Collaborate on database security standards and compliance. Deploy, tune, and monitor database objects. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and support operations. Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements. Contribute to projects enhancing database infrastructure.
