Senior SQL Server Database Administrator

5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server environments (2016+) Deep expertise in T-SQL, indexing strategies, execution plans, Query Store, Extended Events, and wait statistics Proven HADR experience: Always On Availability Groups (multi-subnet/AZ), backup/restore design with tested RTO/RPO Strong AWS experience (EC2-based SQL): networking, storage (EBS), monitoring (CloudWatch), backup, and encryption (KMS) Automation and DevOps: PowerShell/T-SQL scripting; CI/CD for database changes (Flyway/Liquibase) Security/compliance: auditing, encryption at-rest/in-transit, least privilege, vulnerability/patch management Experience with observability/monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Idera, Datadog, etc.) Excellent communication, stakeholder management, incident leadership, and mentoring skills Bachelor’s degree specializing in computing, engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
