Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA a plus. 5+ years of sales experience within CPG, including account management, distributor management, or broker oversight. Strong track record of selling into retail and expanding distribution. Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, Spins). Experience in forecasting, promotional planning, and managing trade spend. Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently, make strong judgment calls, and present confidently. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Ecommerce. Fast-paced, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Identify, pitch, and secure new retail and distributor partnerships. Manage relationships with key retailers, distributors, brokers, and buyers. Support channel strategies to drive distribution, velocity, and brand visibility. Lead sell-in and sell-through with data-backed presentations. Manage customer calls, negotiations, and promotional planning. Ensure pricing, promotions, and programs align across channels. Own sales forecasting and deliver monthly updates. Track retailer performance, consumption trends, and competitive activity. Manage trade spend, AMPS, and MAPS programs. Grow distribution and partnerships in Canada. Support the roadmap for entering and expanding U.S. retail. Partner with Marketing, Operations, Demand Planning, and Ecommerce.
