Technical Coordinator – Horizon EU Project

Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in HPC hardware and AI acceleration projects. Strong background in computer architecture, ASIC design, AI/HPC systems, and AI software stack. Hands-on experience with multi-node architectures, virtual prototyping, ASIC design, SIP integration, PCB design, and AI applications. Proven experience as a Technical Coordinator in Horizon EU or similar multi-partner collaborative research projects. Knowledge of EU reporting requirements, deliverable management, and consortium coordination. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, EMDESK) and effort tracking/financial reporting for publicly funded programs. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Define and drive Axelera AI’s technical strategy for the EU project. Serve as the primary technical contact for project partners. Resolve technical challenges in accelerator architecture, SIP & PCB design, system integration, and AI workload optimization. Collaborate with program management on roadmapping and lead annual Project Plan updates. Prepare technical reports for EU submissions and represent Axelera AI at coordination meetings. Ensure Horizon EU compliance, coordinate effort reporting and cost tracking, validate submissions, and support audit preparation.
