Responsibilities:
Drive research projects through planning, organization, and delegation Design and lead training on quality assurance (QA) processes Identify and implement improvements in research workflows Use SQL, web scrapers, internal data platforms, and Google Sheets for data tasks Troubleshoot data issues and enhance data quality Propose and surface process improvement ideas to data and engineering teams Communicate long term research needs, deadlines, capacity, and scope Own collaborative relationships with Product, Sales, etc. Work with Product teams to create more automated research tools Contribute to scoping requirements, developing new features, and providing feedback on designs Be responsible for major research verticals (e.g., candidate research) Direct work on projects to multiple team members Provide operational support to direct reports Develop project checkpoints, milestones, and dashboards Communicate progress towards deadlines and uphold data quality standards Translate complex processes into user-friendly guides or trainings Scope out new research projects considering timeline, scope, and staffing Foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement Provide constructive feedback to colleagues Offer strategic talent recommendations Train junior team members Help shape a positive, motivated, and entrepreneurial team culture Manage, mentor, or supervise junior team members Ensure administrative responsibilities like researcher payment, staffing, goal-setting, and capacity planning are completed
