Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure

8+ years of high-impact experience in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure roles. Proven history of designing and operating large-scale, multi-account production systems on AWS. Deep expertise in system-level programming and architectural design in languages such as Go or Python. Proven track record of owning critical outcomes end-to-end across multiple functions. Ability to think strategically across functions, connecting technology decisions to company objectives. Expert-level knowledge of IaC (Terraform strongly preferred) and hands-on experience designing and operating container orchestration systems (Kubernetes/EKS). Demonstrated experience serving as a trusted technical advisor and driving change on cross-functional initiatives.

Define and drive the multi-year roadmap for the cloud infrastructure platform. Architect and lead the implementation of the strategic Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platform. Own and drive the evolution of the organization's deployment ecosystem. Define the company's observability strategy (SLOs/SLIs) and lead incident response. Architect and own core platform capabilities for self-service by product engineering teams. Set technical standards and best practices for infrastructure engineering. Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to Senior and Principal engineers. Partner with Security and Compliance leadership to integrate security controls.
