Systems Architect - Engineering and Product Support Systems

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent work experience 8+ years of working experience as a Systems Architect 2+ years GitLab implementation experience Strong understanding of computer systems, networking, and data storage Proven ability to architect scalable solutions across enterprise applications Experience with AWS and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) Excellent problem-solving skills Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation Experience with performance tuning of databases and distributed storage systems Demonstrated history of incident management and leadership ability Effective communication skills across all levels

Provide architecture plans for cloud-based applications. Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and goals. Recommend hardware, software, and methodologies. Oversee implementation and integration of key business systems. Analyze application performance hosted in AWS. Perform root cause analysis for failures. Establish metrics to monitor system performance. Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure. Stay informed about emerging technologies. Create documentation of systems architecture. Communicate effectively with engineering and infrastructure teams.
