Aerospace Intellectual Property Counsel – Patents, Trademarks & Technology Innovation

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent and active U.S. bar membership in good standing. 5+ years of experience in intellectual property and corporate law, ideally with aerospace, aviation, or technology industry experience. Proven experience managing global IP portfolios, including patents, trademarks, and licensing agreements. Strong analytical, strategic, and client-facing skills, capable of advising legal and business stakeholders. Tech-savvy and adaptable, experienced with IP management systems and modern legal technology tools.

Advise aerospace and aviation clients on global IP strategy, portfolio management, and enforcement. Guide products through all phases of the development cycle, identifying IP assets and implementing protection strategies. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial, technology, and licensing agreements for multinational corporations. Support regulatory compliance, due diligence, and cross-functional business initiatives. Lead education and training initiatives on IP, patents, and trademarks for engineers, scientists, and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and product teams to align IP strategy with innovation goals.
