Senior DevOps Engineer (Google Cloud Platform)

5+ years in cloud engineering, SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles with significant GCP experience Strong hands-on experience with GCP IAM Strong understanding of GCP networking Experience implementing cloud security controls and best practices Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation (Terraform preferred) Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Go) Experience operating production environments with strong troubleshooting skills and an observability mindset Experience with BigQuery and Bigtable (preferred) Experience with Kubernetes on GKE (preferred) Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR tooling or cloud security posture management approaches (preferred) Google Cloud certifications are a plus Experience in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) (preferred) Hands-on GitLab experience is a plus

Design, implement, and operate production GCP infrastructure Ensure high reliability and performance of services Participate in on-call rotations and drive post-incident reviews Collaborate with other engineers for cross-cloud consistency Design and maintain IAM strategies Implement and operationalize security controls Partner with security teams to meet compliance requirements Architect GCP networking patterns Drive secure connectivity patterns Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues Lead automation initiatives for provisioning and operational tasks Build and maintain tooling and standards for observability Continuously improve developer experience Support and optimize cloud data services (BigQuery, BigTable) Collaborate with engineering and analytics stakeholders on data workflows
