Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

English B2 or higher. 4+ years of experience in software design and developing rack applications with Ruby and JavaScript. Experience creating microservices and consuming APIs. Solid knowledge and professional experience of software engineering and best practices for the full software development lifecycle. Hands-on experience in writing and distributing large-scale distributed systems and high-quality client-server architectures. Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas and collaborate with technical and non-technical peers. Experience working with GCP (a plus). Experience working with Kafka and/or Pub/Sub (a plus). Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) (a plus). Knowledge of common algorithms and data structures (a plus).

Develop new features and improvements for products and services securely and well-tested. Write detailed technical documentation. Resolve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Ensure code style, maintainability, and best practices. Mentor Junior Engineers. Launch moderately sized features and improvements with minimal guidance.
